Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-02-15T13:25Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-02-15T13:25:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Bright CME with a high southern latitude, seen to the west in STEREO A COR2 and almost exactly to the south in SOHO LASCO, indicating a backsided source. Coronal signatures include a huge prominence seen directly to the south in GOES SUVI 304 starting at 2025-02-12:56Z and originating behind the south limb, and also seen as an extensive movement of matter/field lines to the south and southeast in GOES SUVI 284, also likely happening behind the southern limb. Coronal signatures are almost not seen in SDO AIA, except for minimal movement of ejecta seen in AIA 304.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
